Merlin Park Hospital is a major regional healthcare facility designed to provide inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, and specialist medical services. The hospital forms part of a larger healthcare campus comprising multiple interconnected buildings serving clinical, administrative, and support functions.
Buildings within the hospital campus are generally low- to mid-rise, typically ranging from one to four storeys depending on the block and department configuration. The facility includes inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, operating theatres, diagnostic imaging suites, rehabilitation units, laboratories, administrative offices, staff facilities, plant and service areas, and supporting circulation infrastructure.
Merlin Park Hospital – Security System Installation Works
Rostek carried out the full security system installation at Merlin Park Hospital. The scope of works included installation of access control systems, CCTV surveillance infrastructure, intrusion detection systems, door monitoring, and associated containment and cabling across multiple buildings within the hospital campus. Systems were integrated to provide controlled access to clinical areas, administrative offices, plant rooms, and restricted zones while ensuring continuous monitoring and compliance with healthcare security requirements. Installation works were completed in coordination with hospital operations to minimise disruption within a live healthcare environment.
